Automation Enclosure
Automation Enclosures are meant for two purpose – Product protection and Biosafety for user. Many a times if the instruments like Flow Cytometer or Down stream instruments like Protein Purification system need to be operated under biological safety environment for product protection as well as user protection, Enclosure are critically needed.
The product protection or sample/process protection is ensured by down flow sterile air to work surface preventing contaminant from entering into the enclosure when in operation.
Operator protection is provided by high velocity air (minimum 0.4m/s) passing into the enclosure through this lower door and side windows to provide operator protection from hazardous aerosols. This laboratory air flows into the enclosure and into a profiled grille around the enclosure’s work surface.
